I’ve been a professional Editor, Project Manager, Project Coordinator and Team Leader pretty much my entire career with over 35 years' experience in most aspects of business operations. 

 

I believe a strong customer service commitment is at the center of all successful projects, large or small.  When you work with me, you should expect collaboration with enthusiasm and curiosity. 

 

Can I? ... The answer is usually "yes." I excel at multi-tasking and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.  I pride myself in my high level of customer service, quality and integrity.  These values are at the core of all I do. 

 

I have a hugely diverse background and skills set ... here is a summary of my more recent experiences:

Teams and stakeholders

Actively worked with teams and stakeholders who contributed to all aspects of the Training and Consulting business, including:  administrative support, instructors/facilitators, training development and design, finance, upper management, IT support and marketing/sales.

Clients

Worked closely with clients to determine their needs, assisted with scheduling  resources, producing/sourcing materials,  pricing and submitting proposals to the clients for their review.  Maintained the relationships to ensure the projects were delivered successfully.

Admin
Support

Worked in the various training administration positions and also managed this team (4-7 people). Included all aspects of training support and coordination:  logistics/travel, materials procurement/production, training/instructor scheduling, and bookings/interactions.

Finances

Managed the budgets and weekly/monthly forecasting for a $2mil operation.  Reporting included P&Ls, actual vs. forecast/budget, deliverable volume ... all represented in spreadsheets, pivot tables, word documents, and Powerpoint presentations.

Development

Worked with training development and design team to create new courses and content.  Collaborated with the team on student and client needs, possible new products and courses and feedback given.

Reporting

Created and managed reporting for all aspects of the business, including:  sales interactions in CRM,  financial forecasting (P&Ls, actual vs. forecast/budget, etc.) and team progress reports for teams, management, and clients.  Reports were in Excel (with pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint.

Sales and Marketing

Led marketing and business development efforts in the absence of dedicated teams. Implemented business development/sales plans with the operations-based teams. Promoted excellent customer service and maintaining client relationships.

Resource
Management

Held and managed the Project Coordinator position, being responsible for scheduling training jobs, assigning up to 25 instructors/facilitators domestically and internationally, and coordinating the communication of details throughout the operations team.

Tools and applications

Comfortable with PowerPoint, Word, Excel (graphs and pivot tables), Outlook, and Project.  Worked in SharePoint, Google Drive/Docs, CRM, Access databases, and a proprietary project coordination application. Can do basic HTML/CSS, graphics and photo editing.  What I don't know I can learn.
